It’s simply amazing to me how my images end up online without the watermark. people go though the effort of removing a watermark to make themselves seem more cool online like
“yeah baby, I took this shot”
or
“yeah people, check out this art”
all the while its severely hurting the people that take time to create the images and art that you all so healthily enjoy. I used to wonder why older white photographers were so irritated and completely legalistic about the use of their images. Being a full time photojournalist myself these days… I understand it completely.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE to see people enjoying my work. its my personal journey and the capturing thereof… but there are ways to do so without disrespecting everything that the people, places and things that i collaborate with work for. we work VERY hard on out art, just as hard as you work at your everyday job. you wouldnt turn in a report for your job and not put your name on it… because you want people to know that its YOU that worked hard on it
same idea here.
With all that said, I love all of humans so much… but this is my LAST non-legal warning. It’s about to start getting real for those out there crossing the line
